Each Independance day my sister Amy does a picnic and fireworks at her house. We had a great time. I made layered jello and we all enjoyed curry burgers and hot dogs. Matthew really loved the corn. He loves to eat corn on the cob. He definitely has a lot of Anderson in him because popcorn and corn on the cob are some of his favorite foods.

Matthew sure had a blast waking over to the near by elementary school thanks to Daddy and Grandpa

One of our favorite things to do as a family on 4th of July while we are awaiting the darkness for fireworks is light off a few of the parachute fireworks. It is always a huge competition. Matthew loved playing with the parachutes after they had fallen.

A spontaneous hand stand competition broke out when the fireworks were all fired. Of course our athletic Meagan won most of the rounds.

Isabel is so great with Matthew. She loves to take him around in her little barbie Jeep and of course Matthew has a blast.

The trampoline was a hit. All of the little kids found this the best place to eat their Popsicles.

Getting ready for the fireworks.

Our family is getting so big we are filling up almost all of the lawn.

Fireworks at home are always better than city fireworks. Hands on fun!

Matthew got really tired and cranky toward the end but for the most part he liked the colors and lights. We may as well have been at a city show because now that areals are legal in Utah we were surrounded by areal fireworks from multiple neighbors.

Matthew loves his cousin Sage. I think they are going to be really good friends.
